Justin A. Ritter is the founder of Ritter Law PLLC. With over a decade of legal experience, Justin routinely navigates business deals and disputes concerning various industries and business sizes. He is an active member of the business community, serving as the Chair of the Charlottesville Business Innovation Council. Justin also served as a member of the City of Charlottesville’s Board of Zoning Appeals, ending his term as chair-elect.

Justin received a Bachelor of Arts degree at Salisbury University, Maryland, where among other activities Justin was a varsity letterman on the football team. He received his J.D. from the Pennsylvania State University, State College,  and served on its Moot Court Board.

Christopher J. Sullivan is an associate attorney who joined Ritter Law PLLC in August 2022. In addition to assisting Justin with general business counsel, Chris specializes in intellectual property law and has grown the firm’s practice to also cover matters including trademark, copyright, trade secrets, IP licensing, IP infringement, rights of privacy and publicity, and more.

Chris is a “double spider,” attending the University of Richmond both for undergraduate studies and law school. As a law student, he served as the Editor-in-Chief of Volume 56 of the University of Richmond Law Review. He was the top of his class in Copyright Law and Trademark Law as well as the recipient of the Faculty Award for Excellence in Intellectual Property.
